Conversion kit for older Fanatec wheels.

Works with these wheels only:
- BMW GT2 V1
- Porsche 918 RSR
- Formula Black
- Formula Carbon
- E-Sports V1
This conversion kit uses the same electronics as the other 5x kits but has a case that allows fitting to the older Fanatec wheels.
If your Fanatec wheel has the older style QR with a round back and the bolts that come through the wheel and into the QR, then this is the kit you need.
The Kit includes...
- The conversion kit with coiled USB cable fitted
- 8 pin JST plug for wheel PCB
- 3 x M5 16mm countersunk bolts
- 6 x M5 16mm Cap head Bolts
- 3 x M5 16mm Button head Bolts
Disclaimer...
SRM Conversion to USB kits are to make a Fanatec steering wheel work on a non-Fanatec wheelbase. They cannot be used together with a Fanatec wheelbase.
Conversion kits will only work on a PC consoles are not supported.
Please check that your wheel is included in the compatible wheels tab on this page. Remember some Fanatec wheels have V1 and V2 versions these can require different conversion kits so be sure you know which wheel you have.
Fanatec Formula wheels This kit will work on these Formula wheels • Formula Black. • Formula Carbon. • Formula E-Sport V1 (Not V2) V1 does not have LED's at the side of the display. Fanatec BMW GT2 wheel V1 (NOT V2) This wheel is fully supported and this kit will allow full functionality including the display and rumble. Porsche 918 RSR wheel This wheel is fully supported and this kit will allow full functionality including LED's, display and rumble. Universal Hub (NOT V2) The universal hub is fully supported. All buttons, shifters and the Display will work. The Podium Advanced Paddle Module can also be used and all 4 shifters will work together with the clutch paddles. You will have 2 separate clutches, or hand controls but no bite-point functionality. It's recommended to add the Formula Spacer 6-hole 16mm spacer as this will allow the removal of the display, otherwise, it will be stuck in position after the conversion.
