First and foremost, I would like to thank every customer who has supported SIM Demon over the years.
Whether you purchased a single component, trusted us to build a complete simulator or simply recommended us to someone else, your support has helped make SIM Demon what it is today. We are genuinely grateful to every one of you.
Why are we changing?
Since SIM Demon began selling individual components, the sim racing and flight simulation market has changed significantly.
The market has become increasingly saturated, while supplier pricing and tighter margins have made it harder for smaller specialist retailers to remain competitive.
At the same time, customer expectations have continued to grow. Fast delivery, technical advice, aftercare and free next-day shipping are now often expected as standard, even though many customers understandably do not want to pay extra for those services.
Every one of those services carries a genuine cost. For a small independent company competing against businesses the size of Amazon, the commercial reality has become increasingly difficult.
As a result, we have made the difficult decision to close the individual component sales side of SIM Demon.
Our remaining component stock is now available in our final clearance. From 1 January 2027, any products still available will be sold exclusively through the SIM Demon eBay store.
What happens next?
SIM Demon is not disappearing.
We have found that our real strength lies in designing, supplying and building complete racing and flight simulator systems.
We will continue to offer turnkey static and motion simulators for homes and businesses, working alongside The Circuit Club in Willand, Devon.
The Circuit Club gives customers the opportunity to experience simulator equipment in person, compare different configurations and speak to us about having a complete system designed and built around their requirements.
This allows us to concentrate on what we do best: creating properly designed, professionally built simulator systems and supporting customers through the complete process.
Existing customer warranties
All existing customer warranties remain valid and will continue to be supported by the relevant manufacturer.
Manufacturer contact details are available on our Contact Us page. Customers will need to retain a copy of their SIM Demon invoice as proof of purchase when requesting warranty support.
The next chapter
Sim racing and flight simulation are evolving incredibly quickly, and we genuinely love where the industry is going.
Although the way SIM Demon operates is changing, our passion for simulation, technology and building outstanding systems remains as strong as ever.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported SIM Demon and been part of our journey.
Good luck, stay safe and enjoy your racing and flying.
